Si indaguem en els efectes secundaris d&#8217;un tractament de quimioter\u00e0pia, el primer que ens pot venir al cap \u00e9s la caiguda de cabells, per\u00f2 hi ha un altre tipus de seq\u00fceles menys freq\u00fcents sent una d&#8217;elles la \u2018Quimio Cervell\u2019, com es coneix en espanyol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Chemobrain es tracta d&#8217;un <strong>d\u00e8ficit cognitiu o disminuci\u00f3 del funcionament neuropsicol\u00f2gic derivat dels tractaments quimioter\u00e0pics<\/strong>. Concretament, segons l&#8217;Organitzaci\u00f3 Cancer Research UK, els efectes que produeix la Chemobrain s\u00f3n la p\u00e8rdua de mem\u00f2ria reversible, dificultat per trobar la paraula concreta per definir una situaci\u00f3 o objecte, problemes per seguir de manera fluida una conversa, dificultat per aconseguir concentrar-se, dificultat per poder dur a terme diferents tasques al mateix temps, fatiga, confusi\u00f3 i el que es coneix com a &#8216;boirina mental&#8217; o cert atordiment. Aquest efecte secundari pot incidir entre <strong>el 17% i el 50%<\/strong> d&#8217;homes i dones. Per a la majoria d&#8217;aquests pacients els s\u00edmptomes desapareixen o milloren molt\u00edssim despr\u00e9s de finalitzar el tractament, per\u00f2 en algunes ocasions, poden romandre a llarg termini i estendre\u2019s durant anys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una pacient va ser diagnosticada de leuc\u00e8mia als 22 anys i sotmesa a un trasplantament de medul\u00b7la \u00f2ssia d&#8217;un donant no emparentat.<em> &#8216;Recordo que, d\u2019en\u00e7\u00e0 que em van subministrar la quimioter\u00e0pia, vaig perdre la capacitat de concentraci\u00f3 i una mica de mem\u00f2ria. Al principi va ser molt acusat fins al punt de no poder llegir ni dues p\u00e0gines seguides d&#8217;una novel\u00b7la. A mesura que vaig anar recuperant i a posar de nou en pr\u00e0ctica l&#8217;h\u00e0bit de la lectura, vaig tornar a poder concentrar-me &#8216;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tractament de la Chemo Brain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Existeix controv\u00e8rsia en relaci\u00f3 amb els tractaments que s&#8217;han d&#8217;usar per pal\u00b7liar aquest s\u00edmptoma. No obstant aix\u00f2, alguns d&#8217;ells han mostrat la seva efic\u00e0cia com poden ser:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psicologiasexologiamallorca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/FOTO2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3052\" style=\"width:656px;height:397px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Ter\u00e0pia cognitiva-conductual: <\/strong>s&#8217;inclou un tipus d&#8217;intervenci\u00f3 basada en el programa MAAT (Memory and Attention Adaptation Program). Aquest t\u00e9 com a objectiu millorar diferents dominis entrenant la seva capacitat d\u2019automaneig i l&#8217;afrontament de les errades cognitives en el dia a dia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rehabilitaci\u00f3 cognitiva:<\/strong> formaria part d&#8217;un programa de rehabilitaci\u00f3 del c\u00e0ncer que inclou activitats per a millorar la funci\u00f3 cerebral. Consisteix a fer algunes activitats una i una altre, augmentant la dificultat amb el temps i l&#8217;\u00fas de recursos per ajudar a mantenir-se organitzat, com planificadors o diaris.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Exercici<\/strong>: pot millorar el raonament i la capacitat de concentraci\u00f3. Activitats com la jardineria, la cura de mascotes o caminar, poden ajudar a millorar els nivells d&#8217;atenci\u00f3 i de concentraci\u00f3.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Meditaci\u00f3:<\/strong> pot ajudar a millorar la funci\u00f3 cerebral augmentant l&#8217;enfocament i la consci\u00e8ncia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Com fer front a la Chemo Brain dia a dia?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sent un s\u00edmptoma que produeix malestar i empitjora la qualitat de vida del pacient, \u00e9s aconsellable seguir algunes recomanacions per tal de <strong>minimitzar al m\u00e0xim<\/strong> les conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies d&#8217;aquest efecte secundari. Alguns exemples s\u00f3n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psicologiasexologiamallorca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/FOTO3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3054\" style=\"width:699px;height:441px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Utilitzar una agenda per a planificar les tasques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exercitar el cervell. Mots encreuats, classes d&#8217;idiomes&#8230; aficions que li permetin mantenir-se actiu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Descansar i dormir.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dur a terme alguna activitat f\u00edsica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establir i seguir certes rutines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tractar de no fer diferents tasques al mateix temps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demanar ajuda quan es necessiti.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enregistrar els problemes de mem\u00f2ria i exercitar mitjan\u00e7ant recursos mnem\u00f2nics (f\u00f3rmules o rimes que t&#8217;ajudin a recordar).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enganxar recordatoris a llocs visibles. Fer \u00fas d&#8217;una pissarra o post-it on apuntar rutines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Controlar l&#8217;estr\u00e8s, disminuir l&#8217;autoexig\u00e8ncia i tenir en compte el nivell de fatiga i cansament.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dur a terme tasques agradables despr\u00e9s de rutines que causin dificultat per fomentar la motivaci\u00f3.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura Riera L\u00f3pez<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Psic\u00f2loga Col.
